I’ve been in Houston for a few days now, and I miss my car. I’ve never missed a car before
The stadiums: NRG, home of the Texans, on the left. The Astrodome, former home of the Astros and Oilers, on the right.
Drove my Mom’s A5. As much as I like that car, I now feel like the Mustang does everything that car does but better.
Pictures of space stuff coming shortly

It’s because you’re biased.

And Houston is a soulless place. I feel your pain.

Does the Mustang do AWD better than the A5?

Yes

Wait for your girlfriend to rip your still beating heart out of your chest when she tells you that she slept with your best friend. You won’t think about your Mustang so much.

AWD is totally unnoticeable 99% of the time.

Eh, wouldn’t be the first time.

But I like the A5...

I think my 528i has ruined other cars for me, every time I drive something else I find myself mentally comparing it to my car and wishing I was driving the BMW instead.

I feel your pain when I rent cars for business travel. It’s mostly the automatic part... I just feel like I might as well be in a train.
Get in at point A... stuff happens.... get out at point B.
My mustang makes all driving better (except stop-and-go).

Yeah, I’m not a huge fan. It’s alright, but I never really miss the city outside of visiting my parents. If they ever move I doubt I’ll come back, unless NASA adds a cool exhibit

The restaurants are pretty good though...

A summer of driving the full fleet of Nissan rentals made me sell my Mustang for something faster. I seriously had depression from those cars.

Try going 2+ months not driving your new Camaro. It's actually in Houston btw.

Oh, I don’t know. My wife and I lived there for a few years while I was in grad school. It’s got a pretty vibrant arts scene, great museums, pro sports (of a sort), though the Astrodome was a mildewy, concrete hell hole. Great restaurants, too. Traffic is a nightmare, though. That said, Austin definitely has more overall character, but the traffic is just as bad, if not worse.

Only spent a couple days in both cities and definitely preferred Austin. Also was sentenced to 3 weeks in Dallas by the law firm I used to work for, and it was not good. Town Car driving me to the airport to leave, got chills, looked over my shoulder - yup - same road, same lane as JFK, where he took the head shot. Photographed the building, and the space is so much smaller than you’d imagine. Shudder.

Oh - one guy? But to be fair, I was there for 2 days on business. I saw no passion for anything, just meeting after meeting with people who were sleeping through their lives.

Yeah, but Austin gave me so much more during 3 days there. Keep it weird.

Smart about some things, dumb as a post about others. I make no claim to sainthood.
